Creative Director · Photographer · Filmmaker
Berlin · New York · Pittsburgh
Aaron Jack is a creative director, photographer, filmmaker, and fine artist working across Berlin, New York, and Pittsburgh. His practice is defined by a single through-line: the belief that conceptualism, not medium, is the most honest way to describe what he does.
He trained under Lois Greenfield in New York — one of the world’s leading movement and dance photographers — and graduated Magna Cum Laude in Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology, where he also built one of the first student design conferences in the country (Thought@Work, now in its thirteenth year). That background in human-centered design, systems thinking, and community building has shaped every project since.
His editorial photography has been published in more than 150 media outlets worldwide, including the New York Times, TIME, Vanity Fair, Forbes, CNN, BBC, NPR, Bloomberg, Vice, and Wired. His fine art practice spans Sumi ink on rice paper, acrylic, and mixed media — with work exhibited at Chateau Orquevaux in France, Gallery Art Nova Berlin (where he sold six of seven pieces in 2025), the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and in a solo exhibition of 52 works with live music in Berlin.
He has spent more than a decade as media coordinator and content strategist for jazz musician Richie Cole, producing photography, film, design, and platform strategy that charted at #3 on the jazz charts in 2018. He has interviewed 200+ visual artists and cultural figures in his Artist to Art series. He has led creative direction for live audiences of 1,500–3,000 people. He has produced enterprise creative projects for Autodesk, led community healing installations in the aftermath of national tragedies, and toured with musicians across Germany, Spain, Las Vegas, and Paris.
He is based in Berlin and available for creative direction, editorial photography, film, and long-term content strategy partnerships with musicians, artists, and cultural organizations.
