I'm a photographer, filmmaker, creative director, and content strategist based in Berlin,
with roots in New York City and Pittsburgh. My work spans editorial portrait and documentary
photography, music photography, event coverage, fine art, and content strategy for musicians
and artists.
My photography training began in earnest with an internship under Lois Greenfield — one of
the world's leading dance and movement photographers — in New York City. That experience
shaped how I see performance, the body, and the decisive moment in a way that has never left
my work, regardless of subject.
Since 2020 I've hosted a weekly interview series on Instagram — now 200+ conversations with
artists, curators, musicians, filmmakers, and creative thinkers. The series is less a podcast
than a living document of creative practice: who makes things, how they make them, and why.
My fine art practice is defined by conceptualism, not medium. I began working in Sumi ink on
rice paper and am currently expanding into acrylics. My influences include Yves Klein, Paul
Reps, Bob Dylan, Jack Kerouac, and William S. Burroughs — whose work mine has been directly
compared to. In photography, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edward Weston, and Lois Greenfield remain
the standards I hold myself to.
I work across Berlin's art, music, and creative industries with deep familiarity — not as an
observer but as a participant. I shoot with Nikon and Fuji. I'm available for assignments
across Europe and internationally, and I respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.

About Aaron Jack
Photographer and artist Aaron Jack was born in Pittsburgh ... and regularly commutes between Berlin and New York. His photographs have been published in TIME, VICE and the New York Times, among others. Jack’s life is characterized by world travel and extended stays in various countries, like France, India, and China, with the camera as his constant companion.
Jack is a master of numerous modern media and techniques, both analog and digital.
His oeuvre is united by his omnipresent positivity - the irrepressible joie de vivre of his creative soul is deeply infectious and bubbles out at us from his photographs. As in the work of the late Berlin-born Helmut Newton, we often find a poetically fractured erotomania in his photographs, the content of which rivals the songs of Leonard Cohen or the melodies of the varied jazz music of Jack's native city.
His multiple talents allow Jack to compose virtuously with the camera, and we can follow his successful career as a photographer since 2004.
